Happy Little Wren This little wren was singing right outside my window on a very cloudy day. These little birds are just so cute and they nest at my place every year Like this:Like Loading... 36 thoughts on “Happy Little Wren” Nice photos. I didn’t know what wrens are so, i checked on YouTube. What strong and melodious ‘voices’ they have. You must have free amazing concerts regularly. The little wrens are just so cute. I am serenaded several times a day each day. They are very fast and it is difficult to get good photos. I keep trying and hope to one day get some really good ones. HAPPY EASTER sweet Mags. I hope that spring is showing up at your place. Here, the snow is melting and the river is wide open, mud puddles everywhere, the Eagles are mating but still no sight of the returning Robins. Maybe I’m just not seeing them when they come around. Thanks for your sweet comment on my log. I much appreciate your visit. Hugs, Julia Good Afternoon, I appreciate your sweet comment on my blog and I wish you a blessed Easter weekend. I love wrens. They are so whimsical and you have captured their personality and beauty perfectly. I was away from my blog for about 3 months. Happy to be back. xo What a little cutie! And how nice that they come to visit you each year, Maggie. Thank you for sharing these smile-inducing photos. 🙂 Love to you, Pooh and Chancy Man! I am so happy to see your beautiful birds, Mags! And hope that spring is making its way to Arkansas soon and brings even more bird song into your yard. We just had a cold spell and stormy weather again so no ‘outings’ so far this week. Hugs and kisses from Dylan and me. We were warm today, cooler coming and rain with flash flooding over the next 4 or 5 days. Hopefully the weather will level out for us all soon. Hugs and nose kisses for you and Dylan from Chancy, Pooh and me. Great photos Mags! I have a couple of nest boxes up for Wrens, but it will be some time before they show up here in chilly Michigan. It has been so cold here, I think even the Robins and Redwing Blackbirds are regretting coming home so soon! Hugs. Sure hope you and the birds have some warmer weather very soon. Hugs Such a sweet little wren and what a blessing that she nests at your place, Mags. I’m still waiting for at least a little birdie in our garden, but still no one to see 😀 Pawkisses for a wonderful day 🙂 ❤ I hope you see a birdie in your garden soon. Nose kisses and hugs What a lovely little chap Maggie! All we have had here so far are squawky Starlings! Being treeless at front of building has slowed down Avian traffic a lot. I am thinking about scattering some ‘grass’ seed soon…. 😉 (((hugs))) Sherri-Ellen I hope you start seeing more birds soon. All the best with the grass seed. 🙂 LOL I have a nosy mean neighbor who watches me non stop it seems…..so I’d have to put the bird seed in a grass seed bag…..LOL 🙂 Whatever works sounds good to me. Hugs HAHAHAHA!! I so agree Maggie! 😉 Great photos. That is a cute wren. Thank you! How lucky to have such a wonderful visitor! I am happy they like it at my place. I love hearing them sing, chatter and dart around. They are really fast moving little birds. I guess they would enjoy life better as you go into spring and summer time. If they are anything like me they would. 🙂 Such cuties. I have a bunch of those here each year also. Think they are starting a commune:)) Thanks for stopping by and your sweet message. Much appreciated. Keeping you in my prayers Patti. I am happy to hear that you have cute little wrens at your place to enjoy. Keep feeling and getting better sweet friend. Ohhh-how beautiful and sweet ❤ Thank you for the cheerful beginning to my day! Love these amazing pics, Sis! Most happy to share them with you sweet Sis. It makes me happy to know that little cutie brought cheer to your morning. Love and hugs ❤ What a cute wren! He/she is puffed up nicely 🙂 It was cold, cloudy and raining off and on. But that didn’t keep him from singing. Hi dear Mags, this little wren looks so cute and round, I wonder if it’s a female full of eggs. Your bird photographs are amazing. Thanks for your comment on my blog. I really appreciate it and I hope that Spring has found you. It was so nice and warm and it turned to cold again. I’m waiting to see my first robin but I ‘m sure they are cautious with the changeable weather. They will need insects to eat till the ground is thawed so the earthworm can come out. Have a great week. Hugs, Julia The wren is a male. He was singing up a storm and the females chatter so that is how I know it is a male. It was a cold, cloudy and rainy day so he was probably fluffed to keep warm. We have robins here all year so I depend on plants and flowering trees as the first signs of spring. I hope your weather warms soon. You have a great week also my sweet friend. Hugs Happy and adorable too! They are adorable, aren’t they? Thanks for visiting and commenting sweet friend. they are adorable.. Jake says thanks for the nose kisses….i assume i remember what MATTERS to me… housework doesn’t matter… maybe that should be my new motto…. it is odd i never forget to check emails or post and comment on the blog. don’t forget to EAT either. We have this in common. You gave me a laugh but now that you mentioned those things that don’t matter I find you could very well be speaking of me. LOL Hugs they always make me smile! They bring a smile to me also and I love hearing them sing and chatter. Comments are closed.
