Thanks To The Rain

Little wrens flit around a lot and it is difficult for me to get good shots of them. It was raining today and this one stayed under the baffle eating long enough that I was able to get a few fairly good photos.

  1. Great job getting those shots through that baffle, Maggie. Those wrens and the other birds sure are lucky to have you provide such a tasty spread. Thank you for taking care of them. πŸ™‚

    1. I love watching and feeding the birds and other wildlife. I believe they are all here for a purpose and if they all go so do we humans. ❀

  2. What a cute little bird! It’s such a joy to have these visitors, isn’t it? πŸ™‚

  3. You really put out a nice spread for that little beauty. That log looks good enough for us un-winged sorts.

    1. So far I have only had to dispose of one. The baffles help some in keeping the rain off unless we have rain and wind at the same time.

    1. Thank you so much. I wish the window had been cleaner so they would have been more clear. The rain finally stopped and the flood waters are receding. Wonderful sunshine today.

  4. That’s a great feeder for the little birds. We always have lots of wrens here too.
We have had lots of rain here too and we are on flood watch. We worked all afternoon to put things on high shelves and someplace where the water won’t reach. The heifers will be moved tomorrow.
    Happy Easter
    Hugs, Julia

    1. The little birds do enjoy that feeder. I am glad you have wrens to enjoy….I love their song. I am so sorry floods are coming your way. We had flooding this week some of my neighbor’s homes flooded. The water has been receding and we have sunshine today. The sun looks so good. Be safe sweet Julia and I hope the flooding is not bad.

  5. Wee little sweetie!! We had cloudy warm weather this morning so sat out on patio almost 2 hours. Then @ noon the heavens opened & it has been raining all afternoon Maggie!
So happy the wrens are back!

    1. The little wrens stay here year round but they are not easy to capture in a photo. The heavens really opened up here. We got over 5 inches of rain in 6 hours and it is still raining. Lots of flooding here. Hugs

              1. It is still cloudy & rainy here…Some places in our Province are flooded & people evacuated. Plus places in Quebec Province being evacuated….no more complaining from me, lol….

                1. It is raining here too and we have had some of the same situations here. I am located on the foot of a mountain so I am okay but there is flooding not far from me. ❀

                2. Meow meow Aunty Maggie today iss Caturday an wee have sum Sun….still kewl outside…onlee 50 deegreess…butt wee take it rite? πŸ˜‰

                3. We have sunshine today and it is so nice….you are right about that we will take the sun with the lower temps. Hugs

                4. We hope you are seeing more sunshine than rain. We have rain coming this weekend but so far two days without any. YES!!!! Hugs

                5. Maggie everytime we have some Sunshine we then end up with clouds & rain…it is very odd! Everything is slow in budding & blooming….better than being slammed into hot & humid weather….

  6. WOOT! Amazing pics of this beautiful little wren at the feeder, Sis ❀ You and the pics lightened my day-thank you πŸ™‚ Hugs ❀
